Merry Christmas - Closed Dec 23rd-27th

We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Santa brings you all the PA Gear you wanted.  We will be closed December 23rd through the 27th.  We will attempt to answer emails from home over the break, but can not guarantee anything.  Basic questions we will be able to answer.  Questions regarding tracking numbers, has my item shipped, do you have this or that in stock, etc will have to be answered on Monday the 28th.  The information for these type of questions is on our work computers.

If you were not aware, we have some coupon codes running.  Use YearEnd10 to get 10% off orders $25 or more or use YearEnd20 to get $20 off orders $150 or more.  These coupons are good until New Years.  If you place an order from now until New Years, you will receive two additional codes.  One is for 15% off orders $25 or more and the other is for $40 off a $200 purchase or higher.  These bonus codes are good for the month of January.

Anyway..... Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the Seismic Audio team.  We will see you on Monday.

Seismic Audio's Challenge

As I, Steve Hatmaker, am in charge of running the Social Media side of things at Seismic Audio, my boss, Steve Acree, came in today and issued me a challenge.  He said he would give me a $100 for every celebrity, up to 10, that I could get to follow Seismic Audio on Twitter.  Well, we decided to just donate the money to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Over the next few weeks, I am going to try to get as many celebrities as possible to follow Seismic Audio on Twitter so that we can give St. Jude a nice check for the full $1000!  So, be sure that you spread the word and help me get the money to donate to those children in need!

And, of course, we will be sure to post pictures of the checks and everything associated with this challenge to validate its authenticity.

Famed Guitarist Tweets Seismic Audio

If you have been using the microblogging website Twitter, then you know that Mondays are #MusicMondays.  If you haven't, #MusicMondays is an opportunity for the Twitter community to discuss musicians and bands they like.  Here at Seismic Audio we enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, so choosing the musicians we want to talk about is often a difficult task.  However, this past Monday it seems like we made some good choices because famed rock guitarist Slash responded to our tweet.  We will post part of the conversation below, but this helped to jump start a great week for us here at Seismic Audio.  Be sure to stop by the Seismic Audio website and pick up some of our great limited time, Holiday deals!

Working on Tech Help Content - Need Contributors.

We have been working on a Tech Help page for PA Speakers, Floor Monitors, Subwoofers, and everything else Pro Audio related.  It has been slow going due to the many other projects we have going on.  We are looking for some help.  If you would like to write a How To or informative article to be posted on our website, we would love to hear from you.  It can be about anything speaker or pro audio related.  It does not necessarily have to be about a Seismic Audio product, but we will not post competitors products brand name.  Brand name power sources, lighting, and other products we do not carry will be fine.

We are basically trying to start a library of all the basic questions someone may have when hooking up a PA system or what they made need to make this or that work the way they want it to work.  Also we are looking for tricks and tips to help other musicians save money.

If this is something you think you would be interested, please send us an email to customerservice@seismicaudiospeakers.com.  Include Tech Help Content in the subject box.  Let us know what topic you would like to write about.  It doesn't have to be very long (but it can be as long as you like.)  We will possibly edit it for grammar and spelling (if needed) and may insert links to certain items on our site or other sites.  We will also verify the information before posting.  We will give you credit for writing the article and will gladly include a link to your MySpace, Facebook, or website.  If you do not want your name posted, just let us know and we will leave it off.  You can include pictures or YouTube videos.  If you already have great YouTube videos you think we would like and would be informative, you may send those as well.

We can not guarantee we will use your article.  We will let you know either way.

Thanks for your help,
Seismic Audio Speakers

Finally Got Some Videos Posted on YouTube! Check them Out!

We finally got a few videos posted on YouTube.  We are attempting to bring in people who do not work for Seismic Audio to give their reviews.  Anyone can say their speakers are awesome.  "Our speakers are awesome!"  That was me saying our speakers are awesome.  Our goal with bringing in local musicians is to get a more honest review.  You might see that sometimes the reviewer gets a littleflustered and stumbles.  That is because he does not work here and is playing some of these items for the first time.  He tried to memorize the specs, but we did not want to coach him.

Seismic Audio is Climbing the Ranks of Google, but We Still Need Your Help

We have been working on our SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for some time now.  We have redesigned our website and are attempting to add new content all the time.  As of this writing we have improved our Google ranking tremendously over the last year.  Here is where we rank with each of these key words at this time.

12 Channel Snake Cable  -  7
10 Space Rack Case  -  11
snake cables  -  11
16 channel snake cable  - 13
24 channel snake cable  -  13
snake cable  -  17
PA Speakers  -  18
DJ Speaker  -  23
Bass Guitar Cabinet  -  25
DJ Speakers  -  25
PA Speaker  -  29
PA Subwoofer  -  71

Our Goal is to get to the front page of Google.

Amazingly to me, we are number 7 on Bing for 12 Space Rack Case, but not even in the top 100 on Google.

Anyway.... we need your help.  One of the most important things to have to help get better rankings is link backs.  These are the links other people put on their websites, MySpace, Blogs, etc that link to us.

We try to offer Pro Audio Gear at the most reasonable price allowed.  We are able to do this by selling in bulk and keeping cost down.  To get more bulk sells we have to get good rankings in Google.

Help us out if you can.  Please include the following on your website or MySpace if possible.

Seismic Audio Speakers - Your PA Speaker, Snake Cable, Subwoofer, and Floor Monitor Online Store

Thanks a million
